As we approach another blessed Eid, I extend to you a heartfelt invitation to participate in our initiative, Qalby Qurban, in preparation for Eidul Adha celebrations.

Qalby Qurban represents more than the fulfillment of a religious duty — it is a purposeful act of compassion that directly supports humanitarian efforts worldwide. Every Qurban contribution through this initiative not only uplifts lives but also fuels the development of the QalbyApp, ensuring we continue to offer impactful Islamic content and digital tools to our global community.

This year, our efforts are focused on supporting vulnerable communities across Cambodia, Syria, Yemen, Pattani, Indonesia, and the sacred cities of Makkah and Madinah. These regions have faced severe challenges due to conflict, displacement, and natural disasters.

Our mission is to bring relief, restore dignity, and rekindle hope for those who have endured immense hardship.

Through your participation, we aim to:

  • Deliver Qurban aid to communities in need
  • Rehabilitate affected areas and support long-term recovery
  • Promote compassion and unity through collective action

We invite you to stand with us in this noble effort — to give meaningfully, act with intention, and reflect the true values of Islam: mercy, solidarity, and social responsibility.

Jazakumullah khayran kathira for your unwavering support and dedication. May Allah SWT shower His blessings upon you abundantly, safeguard you under His guidance, and grant peace to the regions of Cambodia, Syria, Yemen, Pattani, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia (Makkah), and beyond. Allahumma Aameen.

Much love from the Qalb,

Shazrina Azman (Mizz Nina)

Why these 4 Countries?

Palestine, Makkah, Tanzania & Syria

In choosing where your Qurban reaches, we asked ourselves one question:

“Where is the need greatest — physically, emotionally, and spiritually?”

Palestine | Syria | Tanzania.

These are not just names on a map — they are nations in survival mode.

Years of war, occupation, instability, and poverty have made daily life a test of endurance. In these lands, Qurban is not just meat — it’s a symbol of mercy, a moment of relief, and a reminder they are not alone.

By offering your Qurban here, you deliver nourishment to those who haven’t tasted meat in months — if not years — and you help restore dignity where it’s been stripped away by bombs, hunger, and displacement.

This is Qurban for survival. This is Qurban for humanity.

🕋 Makkah al-Mukarramah

While Makkah is often associated with abundance, its unseen population tells another story.

Behind the glamour of the Haramain lies a hidden group — migrant workers from Africa, South Asia, and beyond — who serve the city but are often left behind in its blessings. These are the cleaners of the Haram, the street vendors, the daily labourers — the quiet hands who keep the city moving.

There is no special reward in slaughtering in Makkah, scholars say, but there is great reward in sincerity — and there is profound meaning in honouring Makkah not with grandeur, but with compassion for those within its shadows.

In this sacred land where Prophet Ibrahim a.s once prepared to sacrifice his beloved son in obedience to Allah, we now offer Qurban — not for ritual alone, but for the revival of souls.

Let your Qurban carry legacy. Let it carry love. Let it carry life.

Another act of kindness...

Sharing the joy of sacrifice:

Make a difference with Meat Sadaqah

With every share of meat, we bring smiles to faces, warmth to hearts, and a renewed sense of hope to those who need it most. This Eid, let’s make our acts of kindness and generosity the true embodiment of the spirit of sacrifice.

All donations will be pooled and managed collectively. The remaining funds will be used to purchase goats or shares of cows in a suitable country based on the available budget.

This initiative is strictly for charitable (sadaqah) purposes and does not fulfill qurban obligations. In 2024, contributions enabled the purchase of 2 goats and 2 shares of a cow.

1) Make an intention of getting closer to Allah SWT. The time of intention is when slaughtering or buying the sacrificial animal.

2) Choose sacrificial animals that can be shared such as camels, cows and buffaloes if they are to be divided into seven people. While a goat or sheep is reserved for a person who represents a part.

‘Aqd declaration:

“I (the name of the sacrificer) have agreed to delegate you to manage my sacrifice this year (1446 Hijrah) for the sake of Allah Ta’ala”.

Then when the slaughtering takes place, the representative will be the one to act on his behalf.
